How to Set Up McAfee Safe Family
Step 1: Install McAfee Safe Family on Your Device
- Search for McAfee Safe Family in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android)
- Download and install the app
- Sign in with your McAfee account
- This becomes your Parent account
Step 2: Install on Your Child’s Device
- On your child’s device, download McAfee Safe Family from App Store or Google Play
- Open the app on your child’s device
- Select Child
- Enter your parent account email to link the devices
- The child’s device is now monitored
Step 3: Configure Controls
- Set web filtering categories to block (Adult, Violence, Gambling, etc.)
- Set screen time limits (e.g. 2 hours per day, off after 9 PM)
- Block specific apps if needed
- Enable location tracking to see where your child is
